I am a master’s student in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. My goal is to become a competent UX/UI designer. I also enjoy having the opportunity to sample a smorgasbord of subfields in my classes, including Transition Design and Futures Studies. I was drawn to CMU’s Design school because of its commitment to responsible design.
In 2016 I received my first Master’s degree, in English Literature, from Duquesne University. I studied Modernist-era literature and art and Film Theory.
For the past five years I have written for a variety of media outlets including Complex, Business Insider, and Only In Your State. My favorite topics are art and design, but I’ve written about diverse topics such as local businesses, education, tech, and urban legends. I love to wordsmith, but through this work I’ve learned other useful skills, such as content strategy and promotion and social media marketing.
I am constantly seeking new projects. Does it sound like we could work together? Get in touch.
