I am a communications designer and writer who lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with two cockatiels, a cat, and tens of plants. I have experience in web design, digital content management, and graphic design. I've worked at Carnegie Mellon University for nearly five years, where I also earned an M.A. in Design in 2020.
Before studying design as a craft, I was a freelance writer and graduate student in English Literature. I earned an M.A. in English from Duquesne University in 2016 where I studied film theory and modernism. I am passionate about studying literature and art, but am happy to be on the production side of things these days instead.
These days I can be found at the Carnegie Mellon Neuroscience Institute, where I manage the website and social media, create graphics and posters, and assist with daily operations and events.
