Christi Danner is a designer and writer who lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is interested in using her skills to impact the global community in a positive way and is especially interested in wildlife and land conservation.
Christi has collected two Masters degrees. She obtained an MA in Design from Carnegie Mellon University in 2020 and an MA in English Literature from Duquesne University in 2016. At Carnegie Mellon, Christi was drawn toward visual communication design and was also interested in transition design and speculative design. At Duquesne, she studied modernism and film studies. In all of her studies, she has explored the intersection of critical theory and visual design. She enjoys cultivating practical skills alongside a mindful and human-centered approach to projects.
She has done freelance work throughout her career and has written online content for media outlets including Complex, Business Insider, and Only In Your State about topics ranging from art to urban legends.
These days she can be found at the Carnegie Mellon Neuroscience Institute, where she manages the website and social media and assists with daily operations and events.
In her spare time goes for walks and listens to music with her bird, Jack, and cat, Tom.
